TWS Motorsport T66-F forged wheels for BMW F-series M cars combine an exceptionally low wheel weight with a one-piece forged construction and motorsport-focused details throughout.

This limited BMW specification uses a staggered 18x10 ET25 front and 18x11 ET44 rear setup. The front wheel is approximately 8.15 kg and the rear approximately 8.19 kg. Price is for a complete set of four wheels.

The T66-F sits within the TWS Motorsport range and is designed around reducing unnecessary mass while retaining the rigidity, strength and brake clearance required for demanding road and circuit use. This particular F-series BMW M fitment was commissioned as a very limited custom run; Chalk Motorsport states that only five sets were produced in this specification.

Designed for low weight without giving up strength

TWS describes the T66-F as an ultra-lightweight forged wheel developed to remove mass while maintaining rigidity. The wheel is forged as a one-piece 6T66 aluminium construction and uses a number of additional machining processes to remove material only where it is not required structurally.

For this 18-inch BMW specification, that results in a 10-inch front wheel at approximately 8.15 kg and an 11-inch rear wheel at approximately 8.19 kg. That is particularly relevant on track-focused BMWs where reducing unsprung and rotating mass can improve suspension response and reduce rotational inertia.

Forged under 8,000 tonnes of pressure

The TWS forging process starts with a solid aluminium billet. Chalk Motorsport describes the material as being formed under approximately 8,000 tonnes of pressure, producing a dense and aligned grain structure through the wheel rather than relying on a cast structure.

TWS also uses motorsport-focused forged blanks developed around the intended wheel application. This gives the design more freedom around spoke profile, concavity and brake clearance before the final wheel is CNC machined.

Side-milled spokes and barrels

The T66-F uses extensive side milling across the spokes and barrel. A precision CNC process removes material from areas that do not contribute meaningful strength, allowing TWS to reduce wheel mass without simply making the entire spoke or barrel thinner.

The machining is visible throughout the wheel and is one of the key reasons the T66-F can achieve such low quoted weights at 18x10 and 18x11 sizes.

Tyre security and bead-seat design

The T66-F uses non-slip processing and paintless knurled bead seats. Under repeated hard acceleration and braking, a tyre can move slightly around the wheel bead and disturb the original balance position. Leaving the knurled area unpainted keeps the surface sharp and helps resist that movement.

Back-spring machining and hub contact

The rear mounting face uses TWS back-spring processing to improve contact between the wheel and hub. This is another detail aimed at maintaining a consistent, secure mounting surface under demanding use.

Brake and wheel-hardware clearance

The T66-F is designed with substantial brake-caliper clearance and practical access around the wheel fixings. TWS/Chalk quote approximately 32 mm socket-diameter clearance, allowing normal workshop and impact-socket access rather than requiring unusually small wheel hardware.

The wheels are compatible with OEM mounting hardware, suitable aftermarket wheel bolts and stud-conversion systems. Brake clearance can still vary by caliper, disc and vehicle specification, so please contact us before ordering if the car uses a non-standard brake package.

Laser-engraved specification

TWS laser engraves the wheel specification on the barrel. The T66-F is also independently tested and certified to JWL / VIA standards.

TPMS and valve compatibility

The wheels accept OEM and aftermarket tyre-pressure monitoring sensors and standard-fit valve stems. If you are changing tyre specification or adding TPMS at the same time, we can advise on the complete wheel and tyre package.
