Swift Performance works directly with Nitron as a BMW development partner, actively testing and developing suspension applications across BMW platforms.
From RoadSport and R1 through to R3, elec-TRON, Front Axle Lift and our own SP x Nitron range, we can help specify the right system for the car and how it will actually be used.

Our relationship with Nitron goes beyond supplying suspension. Swift Performance is actively involved in the development of BMW applications, using our own cars and customer vehicles for testing and providing feedback from road, circuit and workshop use.
That gives us first-hand experience with the systems we sell and fit. We can advise on the appropriate kit and specification before installation, then complete the ride height, geometry and initial damper setup in-house where required.

SP x Nitron
Developed for BMW M cars
SP x Nitron is our BMW M suspension range developed through our ongoing work with Nitron.
Each system uses Swift-developed damper dimensions, valving and spring rates together with a true-coilover rear arrangement. SP R3 adds remote rear reservoirs with dry-break couplings.
Development has included workshop and road testing alongside circuit use at the Nürburgring, Spa-Francorchamps and UK circuits.

Our work with Nitron includes development, testing and installation across Swift Performance shop cars and customer vehicles.
Development on our G87 M2
Our G87 M2 shop car has been used as part of our ongoing development and testing work with Nitron, giving us direct experience of the platform beyond simply fitting finished kits.
The reel shows part of that development programme and the hands-on testing behind the suspension advice, installation and setup we provide for G-series BMW M cars.
F80 M3 development
This Swift customer F80 M3 was supplied to Nitron for development and testing of the elec-TRON RoadSport system.
The project gives us first-hand experience of the system, installation, electronic integration and final setup on the F8X platform.

BMW Front Axle Lift installation
Full overview of the first Nitron R3 Front Axle Lift system installed on an F82 M4 CS at Swift Performance.
The system adds additional front clearance while retaining the damping capability and adjustment of the underlying Nitron suspension package.

Nitron suspension at Swift Performance
Nitron systems can be supplied for delivery or installed and set up at our Aylesbury workshop.
Specification
We can discuss how the car is used, tyre choice, ride height and the required balance between road and circuit use before the final kit specification is confirmed.
Installation
Professional installation including ride-height setup and commissioning of elec-TRON, Front Axle Lift and external reservoirs where applicable.
Geometry & damping
Four-wheel alignment and an appropriate baseline damper setup can be completed as part of the installation.
