Performance Details

The Pagid RSL1 is a low-metallic, resin-bonded compound reinforced with steel and aramid fibers for outstanding heat resistance and durability.
Designed for endurance racing applications, it maintains a consistent friction level across a wide temperature range, ensuring reliable braking and excellent modulation even in the harshest conditions.

Offering a high coefficient of friction and strong initial bite, RSL1 provides excellent pedal stability and fade resistance during long stints. Despite its race-oriented design, it remains relatively gentle on discs compared to other high-friction compounds, making it a favourite for endurance GT and touring cars.

  • Compound: Low-metallic, steel/aramid-fiber racing formulation
  • Friction coefficient: Approx. 0.45–0.54µ (high friction output)
  • Effective temperature range: 100–800°C
  • Extremely stable performance under continuous high load
