Nitron elec-TRON R3 with Front Axle Lift – BMW F87 M2 / M2 Competition
Nitron elec-TRON R3 with Front Axle Lift for BMW F87 M2 / M2 Competition combines real-time electronic damping control, the R3's 3-way manual adjustment and Nitron's hydraulic front lift system.
The R3 provides 24 rebound positions, 26 low-speed compression settings and 16 high-speed compression settings. The elec-TRON valve operates across a 300–1800 mA range with a 6–8 millisecond response time, while FAL raises the front axle by 25 mm at the shock.

Fitment
Fitment: BMW F87 M2 / M2 Competition
Application notes
F87 M2 and M2 Competition require Nitron's standalone electronic control solution / DCU. The M2 CS has factory electronic damping and can use OEM EDC integration.
Ordering and specification
Specification: before the kit is built we will normally confirm how the car is used, tyre choice, ride height and any relevant supporting modifications, then finalise the spring and damper specification with Nitron.
Why Swift Performance?
Swift Performance works directly with Nitron as a BMW development partner. Nitron's standalone F87 elec-TRON control system was developed and tested using our own F87 M2, and we also have first-hand experience installing Nitron Front Axle Lift systems on BMW M cars.
That means we can deal with the dampers, electronic controller and hydraulic lift hardware as one complete installation. We can confirm the required specification, install and commission the system in-house, then set ride height, geometry and an appropriate baseline damper setup.
Frequently asked questions
How does elec-TRON control damping?
A proportional solenoid valve on each damper controls damping electronically at each wheel.
What does the system respond to?
The system can respond to inputs including G-force, vehicle speed, road surface and driver inputs.
Can Swift Performance fit and commission the system?
Yes. We can install the suspension and electronic control hardware, then complete the ride-height and alignment setup.
