The EBC RP-1 compound is a track-focused material engineered for drivers who demand precision and modulation during high-speed braking.
With a friction coefficient of 0.45µ and consistent performance between 100–750°C, RP-1 provides a progressive braking response, ideal for cars with strong brake servo assistance or big brake conversions.
Unlike aggressive race compounds, RP-1 offers smoother pedal response and fine control, making it especially suitable for track drivers who prefer a more linear, manageable feel when trail braking or modulating pressure deep into corners.
