DONINGTON PARK PROFESSIONAL DRIVER TUITION

Book a dedicated professional driver tuition session during the Swift Performance Track Day at Donington Park on Thursday 23 July 2026.

Tuition is available exclusively to drivers already booked onto the event.

Book by Session Time

Select your preferred available time slot when booking. Swift Performance will allocate one of our three professional instructors to your session.

Instructor allocation will be managed to maximise availability and keep the tuition schedule running efficiently throughout the day. Bookings are therefore for a session time rather than a specific instructor.

Session Format

Each booking includes a dedicated one-hour tuition session with approximately 40 minutes of driving in your own car.

An initial discussion covering your experience and objectives
On-track coaching in your own vehicle
Feedback and guidance between driving runs
A final debrief with clear areas to continue working on

Tuition can be tailored around racing lines, braking, consistency, circuit knowledge, car control and confidence around Donington Park.

£120 for a 1 hour session

Includes approximately 40 minutes of driving

Tuition Meeting Point

Please meet your allocated instructor at Garages 1 and 2, located at the end of the pit lane. Arrive at least 10 minutes before your selected session time.

Meet the Instructors

GT Driver and Coach

James Cossins

James began competing at 12 years old in the British Karting Championships before progressing through sports-car racing and into GT4 and GT3 machinery.

He currently leads the Mazda MX-5 Mk3 Miata Trophy championship and coaches GT4 and GT3 drivers in sprint and endurance racing. His clients have progressed into GT2 categories and historic Le Mans racing, and he also represents AMG at high-profile events as an AMG specialist.

Racing Driver and Coach

James Black

James has more than 13 years of competition experience, racing throughout the UK in sprint and endurance series.

He has more than four years of driver-coaching experience and has represented manufacturers including Ferrari, BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Caterham.

BTCC Driver and AMG Specialist

Ollie Pidgley

Ollie has raced since 2007, progressing from the British Karting Championships through Junior Touring Cars and into the British Touring Car Championship.

He has more than 10 years of coaching experience and currently works as a Senior Driving Specialist with AMG. Ollie has extensive experience coaching drivers of all ability levels, including high-profile private clients.

Instructor allocation may change where required for operational reasons.
Tuition is only available to drivers booked onto the Swift Performance Donington Park Track Day.
Sessions take place in the customer's own vehicle.
Each booking applies only to the selected session time.
Late arrival may reduce the tuition time available, as later sessions must begin on schedule.
Driving time is approximate and remains subject to circuit conditions, red flags and track stoppages.
No physical ticket will be issued. Your order confirmation confirms your booking.
